Weather is an integral part of the decisionmaking process for travelers and, in particular, certain locations or events will not even be recommended during unsafe poor weather. In this article, we introduce a weather assistant framework called wPOI, which calculates weather forecasts in places of interest (POI) that can be suggested. We demonstrate that experience of climatic patterns at a POI and previous insights about how visitors rank their destinations in many different weather situations can be useful in improving the reliability of the choosing. The findings of our research indicate the significantly greater validity of the recommendations and greater comfort with the suggested solution.Downloads
